DANCE!
Dance has always been my escape. I started to dance when I was in 10 years old. 5th grade was a hard time for me. I remember having these terrible days, but every time I went to dance class, all my problems just went away. Dance is my stress reliever. I feel like I am flying when I dance. I knew I that life was just going to get harder, so I just kept dancing and everything seemed okay.
I remember my first dance class; I was so nervous because my mom was watching me like a hawk through the windows. That day we started off learning our ballet positions.

Ever since, I learned how to stand in first position, I knew I that dance was going to be more than an activity to me; it's life. I'm a girl with wild dreams; for example, I dream of making in to the NFL, and then having a Broadway career after. Even though I have many dreams, winning the Youth American Grand Prix is most important at this current moment. The Youth American Grand Prix is a prestigious student ballet competition that offers the winner a scholarship to any ballet school around the world. Winning the youth American Grand Prix will give me a free ride to a ballet school of my choice, so that means I would have more opportunities to keep dancing. If I could dance for the rest of my life, I would. I would love waking up and going to a half day of school and just dancing for the rest of the day. That would sharpen my skills, and make me a better dancer; it would also give me an even better chance of becoming a professional dancer. In conclusion, my dream is to win the Youth American Grand Prix because of the unlimited opportunities that is offered to the winner.
